[Worst than expected] Nonfarm payroll employment edged down (-85,000); Greenback falling

Acording to the BLS, Nonfarm payroll employment edged down (-85,000) in December, and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 10.0 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment fell in construction, manufacturing, and wholesale trade, while temporary help services and health care added jobs.

The greenback is falling sharplpy, reaching 1.4415$ against the euro.

EUR-USD a more neutral movement has begun

The EUR Vs USD is facing a low-liquidity environment in the market at the moment. The movements are more volatile, so supports and resistances are less reliable. In any case, the technical behaviour suggests that the downtrend has temporarily concluded and a more neutral movement has begun, as shown in the daily chart below. In the upper chart, we have shorter-term movement, with an area of solid support at 1.4216 levels.
